About Us

 

The Greater Oviedo 5k exists to honor our locally active and fallen heroes. This includes all current and veteran military, firefighters, police, and EMT. Our heroes risk their lives every day to protect and serve, with some even sacrificing their lives in the line of duty. They are the first to respond and often times the last to be thanked. Join us on May 23 to celebrate our heroes as we run/walk in their honor.

 

We have been an annual event around Memorial Day weekend since 2003, and all ages are able to participate whether competing for a trophy or just proud to finish walking. Sign up today!!!
